hamburg-born Til Obladen is a director by calling.

initially he studied biology before following his calling as a creative. he trained as a photographer specialized on stillife photography and from 1993 onwards worked on many projects ranging from album covers to advertising campaigns and art photography and in 1993 he held a photo and video installation in hamburg kunsthaus. always keen on broadening his horizons, he soon became interested in the possibilities of the moving image and began to work as assistant director on numerous commercials and music videos. at the same time Til produced his own short films and did camera work on a number of shorts films and music videos. from 1997 to 2001 he realised a great number of very successful international advertising campaigns with his partner-in-crime Nika with whom he also co-founded a production company in hollywood. since 2001 he works as a freelance director for commercials and music videos and currently develops his first feature film.

in 2008 he joins forces with M.A.R.K.13 to bring you fresh commercials and music videos that never fail to capture the audience. due to his long years of experience as a director and as cameraman and photographer Til Obladen has a unique sense for the right casting, compelling storytelling and effective cinematography and knows how to throw the funny and unexpected into the mix.
